Scotland Adventure - Part Two

After packing up our tent, we drove up to the Glencoe Visitor centre where we parked, looked around the exhibition there and also went for a walk through the woodland.

We travelled further to the Glenfinnian monument.

We had a lovely picnic parked up by a loch, and then went for a little walk around the lake side.

And finally , we arrived at Back of Keppoch where we were staying for the night. The campsite was so beautiful and we put up our tent literally two steps away from the beach! It was so sunny and hot that we went for a paddle in the sea and walked along the beach barefoot back to the campsite. The site overlooked the Isle of Rum and Eigg and it was wonderful to watch the sun set amongst the mountains. The campsite was also situated very close to the Jacobite Steam Train Line so we were able to see the steam train travelling through the mountains in the evening.
